hey amigo ,

your answer↩⬇

solution :

given length =7.5

diagonal =8.5

as we know that the rectangle makes 90 degree angle at the vertices

so, by using Pythagoras theorem

let diagonal be hypotenuse ,length be the perpendicular and breadth be te base

therefore,

{h}^{2}  =  {p}^{2}  +  {b}^{2}  \\ or \:  {b}^{2}  =  {h}^{2}  -  {p}^{2}  \\  \\ b =  \sqrt{ {h}^{2}  -  {p}^{2} }  \\  \\ b =  \sqrt{ {8.5}^{2}  -   {7.5}^{2}  }  \\  \\ b =  \sqrt{72.25 - 56.25}  \\  \\ b =  \sqrt{16}  = 4 \\  \\ now \: perimeter \: of \: rectangle \:  \\  \\  = 2(l + b) \\  \\  = 2(7.5 + 4) = 23 \: cm

hope it's helpful
