Given:-

  • Length = 6 × Breadth
  • Area of the rectangular field = 40344 cm²

To find:-

  • Perimeter of the rectangular field

Solution:-

Area of the field = 40344 cm²

L × B = 40344 cm²

6B × B = 40344

6B² = 40344

B² = 40344/6

B² = 6724

B² = 82²

B = 82

Perimeter of the field = 2 ( L+B )

= 2 ( 6B + B )

= 2 [ 6(82) + 82 ]

= 2 ( 492 + 82 )

= 2 × 574

= 1148 cm.

Therefore, the perimetre of the rectangular field is 1148 cm.
