Perimeter of square= 4a

Diagonals of square= D=2a

∴a=2162=16∴Perimeter=16×4=64cm

diagonal=8√2

angle of square=90°

thus

by Pythagoras theorem

(diagonal)²= side²+side²

(8√2)²=2a²

128/2=a²

64=a²

a=8

thus side of square is 8

perimeter=4a

=4×8

=32
