AS the radius of circle is A cm so its diameter will be 2A cm

The side of square = the diameter of circle

The perimeter of square = 4 into side

                                         =4 into 2A

                                         = 8A

Given :

  • Radius of Circle = a cm

To Find :

  • The perimeter of a square.

Solution :

✰ Since the square circumscribing a circle of a radius a cm, therefore the diameter of a circle is equal to the side of a square.

⟼ But Diameter of Circle = 2 × Radius

⟼ Side of Square = (2 × a) cm

⟼ Side of Square = 2a cm

Now,

⟹ Perimeter of Square = 4 × side

⟹ Perimeter of Square = 4 × 2a cm

⟹ Perimeter of Square = 8a cm

Thus Perimeter of Square is 8a cm
