Answer :
The PERIMETER of the SQUARE is 64 cm

Explaination :

Given :-

→ Area of the SQUARE = 256 cm

As we all know, square is a quadliateral which has its all sides equal.

→ Area of a SQUARE = Side × Side

To find :-

→ Measure of each side of the SQUARE
→ PERIMETER of the SQUARE

Solution :-

=> Area of SQUARE = Side × Side

Consider side as x

 = > 256 = x \times x

 = > 256 = {x}^{2}

 = > {x}^{2} = 256

 = > x = \sqrt{256}

 = >x = 16

\large{\green{\boxed{\green{\boxed{\red{\textsf{Side = 16 cm }}}}}}}

PERIMETER of the SQUARE = side × 4

 = > 16 \times 4

 = > 64

\large{\green{\boxed{\green{\boxed{\red{\textsf{PERIMETER = 64 cm }}}}}}}

\thereforeThe perimeter of the SQUARE is 64 cm
