Given :

Diagonal of square = 6 unit



Find the length of side of square :-

Diagonal of square = side × √2
=> 6 = side × √2
=> side = 6/√2 = 4.24 unit


Now,
Find the perimeter of square :-

Perimeter of Square = 4 × side
= 4 × 4.24 unit
= 16.96 unit


Hence,
Perimeter of Square is 16.96 unit

 =  > side \sqrt{2}  = 6 \\  \\  =  > side =  \frac{6}{ \sqrt{2} }  \\  \\ \frac{6}{ \sqrt{2} }=  \frac{6}{ \sqrt{2} } \times  \frac{ \sqrt{2} }{ \sqrt{2} }  =  \frac{6 \sqrt{2} }{2}  = 3 \sqrt{2}



Now,
Find the perimeter of square :-

Perimeter of Square = 4 × side


 = 4 \times 3 \sqrt{2}   \:  \: unit\\  \\  = 12 \sqrt{2}  \: \:  unit


Answer : Perimeter of Square = 12√2 unit or 16.97 unit approx.
