Step-by-step explanation:

the sides of equilateral triangle are all equal.

thus

4y+3= 2y+5 = 3y-x

taking frst 2 parts

4y+ 3 = 2y + 5

4y- 2y = 5-3

2y = 2

y= 1

now the other 2 parts ...

2y+5= 3y-x

2(1) +5= 3(1) -x

7 -3= -x

4= -x

-4= x

putting these values in all 1 side....

4y+3 = 4(1)+3 = 7 cm

since it is equilateral all three sides will be.. 7cm

perimeter of equilateral triangle = 3× side

= 3× 7

= 21 cm

{ or perimeter = sum of all sides = 7+7+7= 21 cm}
