Formula used:-

Where a is the side of the given triangle.

Solution:-

We have, a = 15cm

 \sf \footnotesize{ \therefore \: area =  \frac{  \sqrt{3} }{4}  \times  {15}^{2} }

 \sf \footnotesize{ =  \frac{ \sqrt{3} }{4}  \times 225}

 \sf \footnotesize{ =  \frac{225 \sqrt{3} }{4}  {cm}^{2} }
