Answer:

area of rectangle in figure =

l×b

=15×5 = 75 metre²

area of semi circle = 1/2πr²

=1/2×22/7×(5/2)²

=9.82 metre² (approx)

Total area = area of rectangle+ area of semi circle

= 75+9.82

=84.82 metre²

The Given Figure is a combination of A Rectangle and A semi- circle

∴ Perimeter of the given figure = Perimeter of the rectangular region + Perimeter of the semi - circular region

Perimeter of the Rectanglular part

Length of the rectangular region = 15 m

Breadth of the rectangular region = 5 m

Perimeter of a rectangle = 2(l+b)

Perimeter of a rectangle = 2(15+5)

Perimeter of the rectangular region = 40 m

Perimeter of the Semi-Circular Part

Diameter of the semi-circular region = Breadth pf the rectanglur region = 5m

\sf Radius = \dfrac{Diameter }{2} = \dfrac{5}{2}m

Perimeter of semicircle = π × r + d

r - Radius of the semi - circle

d - Diameter of the semi - circle

\sf Perimeter = \dfrac{22}{7} *\dfrac{5}{2} + 10

\implies \dfrac{110}{14} + 10

\implies \sf \dfrac{110+ 140}{14} = \dfrac{240}{14} = 17.14 m (Approx)

Total Perimeter of the given Figure = 40 + 17.41 = 57.41 m (Approx)
