Answer:

perimeter = 100(2+√2)m

Step-by-step explanation:

area = b*h/2

5000=b*h/2

b*h=5000*2

b=h since it is an isosceles triangle

b*b=h*h= 10000

b=h=root10000

b=h=100

let hypo of right angle triangle=c

b²+h²=c²

100²+100²=c²

20000=c²

c=√20000

c=100√2

perimeter = b+h+c

                 =100+100+100√2

                 =200+100√2

                taking 100 common,

perimeter=100(2+√2)meters

Answer:400m^2

Step-by-step explanation:

In an isosceles right triangle only based and height can be equal due to pythagoras theorem

Area of triangle = 1/2 Base × height

5000=1/2 base^2

10000= base^2

100=Base

So height 100

Using pythagoras theorem hypotenuse = 200

Sonia perimeter =200+100+100=400
