Answer:

breadth \: of \: rectangle = 24cm

We know that, the diagonal of a rectangle divides it into two right angle traingle.

So, we can apply Pythagoras theorem.

let \: us \: take \: base \:  = 24 \: cm

and \: diagonal \:  =  \: hypotenuse \:  = 25 \: cm

Let's apply Pythagoras theorem

 {hypotenuse}^{2}  =  \: \:  {base}^{2}  +  {perpendicular}^{2}

Now Put The Value

 {25}^{2}  =  {24}^{2}  +  {perpendicular}^{2}

625 - 576 =  {perpendicular}^{2}

49 =  {perpendicular}^{2}

 \sqrt{49}  = perpendicular

7 = perpendicular

So , Perpendicular = Length = 7

We know that.

Perimeter of Rectangle = 2(l +b)

 = 2(l + b)

 = 2 (7 + 24)

 = 2(31)

 = 62  \: cm \: answer

Hence the Perimeter of Rectangle is 62cm
