❗❗ Hey there ❗❗

Ur answer..

⤵⤵

Here,
Length = 24 cm.

Diagonal = 25 cm.

In a rectangle all the angles are 90 degree and the diagonal divides the rectangle into two right angled triangle.

So breadth is,

Breadth square = 25 square - 24 sqaure
= 49.

So breadth is 7 cm.

Now perimeter of Rectangle is =

= 2 ( l + b )
= 2 ( 24 cm + 7 cm )
= 2 ( 31 cm )
= 62 cm. ✔✔

HOPE IT WILL HELP..♡♡

Condition - Given length of rectangle and Diagonal, Find breadth and then find perimeter .

When a diagonal cuts a rectangle it forms 2 right angled triangles, So by using Pythagoras theorem we will find breadth of the triangle (See the attached picture).

Finding  AC in Δ ACD , By Pythagoras theorem

AD² = AC² + DC²

25² = AC² + 24²

625 = AC²  + 576

AC² = 625 - 576

AC² = 49

AC = \sqrt{49}

AC = 7

Now we have found the breadth = 7 cm

Perimeter of a rectangle = 2 (L+B)

                                         =  2 (24+7)

                                         =  2 × 31

                                         = 62

Hope it helps you :)
