Given

Length of a rectangle is 6 more than its breadth

To Find

Perimeter of Rectangle

\sf\huge\bold{\underline{\underline{{Solution}}}}

Let us assume that the breadth of a Rectangle be 'x'

thrice means three times so,thrice of Breadth is 3x

According to the question=>

Then length be 6+3x

Now , Perimeter of Rectangle is 2(l+b)

Perimeter of Rectangle=2(6+3x+x)

Perimeter of Rectangle=2(6+4x)

Perimeter of Rectangle=\sf\bold{12+8x}

Correct option is 2) 8x+12

Extra information=>

  • Perimeter is the total distance occupy by a solid 2D figure around its edge.

Example in Real life : To fence a field with wire we need to find the cost of fencing in such case perimeter will used because we have to only fence border of the field.
