Given :-

  • Hypotenuse = 37 m
  • Base = 12 m

To find :-

  • Perimeter of Rectangle.

Solution :-

Here we have only Base and Hypotenuse of Triangle. So, we need to find Perpendicular also.

The triangle is right angle so, we can apply Pythagoras theorem to find Perpendicular. By adding all sides will give perimeter of triangle.

So, Length of Perpendicular is :-

=》(Hypotenuse)² = (Base)² + (Perpendicular)²

=》(37)² = (12)² + (Perpendicular)²

=》1369 = 144 + (Perpendicular)²

=》(Perpendicular)² = 1369 - 144

=》(Perpendicular)² = 1225

=》Perpendicular = 1225

=》Perpendicular = 35 m

So, length of the Perpendicular is 35 m.

So, Perimeter of the Right angled triangle is :-

=》Perimeter = Hypotenuse + Base + Perpendicular

=》Perimeter = 37 m + 12 m + 35 m

=》Perimeter = 84 m
