Given,

Area of square = 25 Sq cm

To Find,

The perimeter of the square =?

Solution,

Let the one side of the square be x

According to the formula for the area of the square,

Area of the square  = Side^2

Area of the square  = 25 = x^2

25 = x^2

x = \sqrt{25}\\x =  5 cm

One side of square  = 5cm

We know that all sides of the square are of  the same length,

Therefore, the perimeter of the square  = 4 * (Side of the square)

The perimeter of the square = 4 * x

The perimeter of the square = 4 * 5

The perimeter of the square = 20 cm

Hence, the perimeter of a square whose area is 25 Sq cm is 20 cm.
