Find the perimeter of square whose area is 2500m square

area = side × side

side= underoot of 2500

side=50

perimeter=4×side

=4×50

=200m

  • Square is a four sided closed figure or a quadrilateral.
  • Square has all its four sides equal.
  • All angles of square are right angles i.e. 90°.
  • The diagonals of square are perpendicular bisector of each other and the diagonals are also equal.
  • When a diagonal passes through a square then it becomes two congruent triangles.

SOLUTION ::

According to question ;

Area of square is 2500 sq. meters. And area of quadrilateral is product of its two sides.

As, we know that all sides of square are equal, so to find its side we have to find the square root of the given number.

Side of square = \sqrt{2500}

= 50 m.

So, measure of its one side is 50 m. and we have to find the perimeter and perimeter is sum of all the sides of the figure.

Square is of four equal sides, so perimeter will be (Measure of one side × 4)

= 50 m * 4

= 200m

Therefore,

Perimeter of this square is 200 meters.
