Construction :- Mark 4 points A, B,C,D on the end of each curve and Join ABCD intially ABCD became a square then,

1. each curve became a semicircle and

Perimeter of circle =

2\pi \:  \times r

and Perimeter of semicircle =

2\pi \times r \div 2

and there is total 4 semi circle then,

Perimeter of each curve =

2\pi \times r \div 2 \times 4

and Perimeter of square ABCD = lenght× hence,

Perimeter of the figure= Perimeter of each semicircle + Perimeter of square ABCD
