Answer:

The perimeter of triangle = 12\frac{1}{3} cm

Step-by-step explanation:

Given sides of triangle from figure

                  AB = 2 \frac{2}{5}  =  \frac{ 12}{5} cm    [ 5×2 +2 =12 ]

                  BC = 3 \frac{1}{2} = \frac{7}{2} cm       [ 3×2 +1 =7 ]

                  AC = 4\frac{1}3}  = \frac{13}{3} cm     [ 3×4 + 1 =13 ]

perimeter of triangle =  AB +BC +AC

                                   =  \frac{12}{5} +\frac{7}{2} +\frac{13}{3}

                                   =   \frac{12(2)(3) + 7(5)(3) + 13(5)(2)}{5(3)(2)}

                                   =  \frac{ 72+ 105+ 130}{5(3)(2)} =\frac{370}{30} = \frac{37}{3}

   \frac{37}{3}  is can be written as  12 \frac{1}{3}
