it is a semicricle and we know that the perimeter of circle is 2πr so the perimeter of semicircle is 2πr/2

now,

14 cm=diameter

so it's radius is half of diameter

radius =14/2

radius= 7

so, the perimeter of semicircle is 2πr/2

the calculation is in image ok..

plz plz plz mark me as a brainalist.....

Answer ::

The perimeter of the given figure is 36cm.

Step-by-step explanation ::

Figure :-

\setlength{\unitlength}{1cm}\begin{picture}(0,0)\thicklines\qbezier(2.3,0)(2.121,2.121)(0,2.3)\qbezier(-2.3,0)(-2.121,2.121)(0,2.3)\put(-2.3,0){\line(1,0){4.6}}\put(-2.3,-0.3){\line(1,0){4.6}}\put(-2.3,-0,4){\line(0,1){0,3}}\put(2.3,-0,4){\line(0,1){0,3}}\put(-0.2,-0.6){$\sf \: 14cm$}\end{picture}

To Find :-

  • The perimeter of the given figure.

Solution :-

Given that,

  • The diameter of a semi-circle is 14cm
  • In the given figure, the diagram is of semi-circle

Therefore, radius is,

Radius = Diameter / 2

radius = 14 / 2

radius = 7cm

As we know that,

Perimeter of semi-circle = πr + d,

Where,

  • π = 22/7
  • r = 7cm
  • d = 14cm

ACCORDING THE QUESTION

The perimeter of semi-circle is,

πr + d

22/7 × 7 + 14 .... dividing 7 and 7 with both denominator and numerator.

22 + 14

36cm

The perimeter of semi-circle is 36cm.

Formula used :-

  • Perimeter of semi-circle = πr + d
  • Radius = Diameter / 2
