Let us name the ∆ as ABC.

Let BC be the base & AD perpendicular to BC.

In ∆ ADB,

AD² + BD² = AB²

4² + 3² = AB²

16 + 9 = 25 = AB²

=> AB = 5

Similarly AC =5

Perimeter of ∆ ABC = AB + BC + AC

= 5 + 6 + 5

= 16 cm

Hope it helps.
