Perimeter of the figure is 45 cm.

  • To find the perimeter of the figure , we see that the figure consists of two sectors with same radius.
  • The angle made by the sector is 90°.
  • Perimeter of a sector (in cm) =  \frac{2 \pi r}{4} +2r
  • As the angle made by the arc is 90°, it is one-fourth of the circle.

Perimeter of a sector  = \frac{2 \pi (6.3)}{4} +2(6.3)

Perimeter of a sector  = 22.5 cm

  • Now the same sector is placed below.
  • Therefore, the perimeter of the figure is 2 times of the above calculated sector.
  • Perimeter = 2 × 22.5 cm

Perimeter = 45 cm
