Find the perimeter of the rectangle having length 120 cm and the length is double of its breadth.

let :-

breadth = x

lenght = 2x

perimeter = 2(l+b)

120 = 2(2x + x)

120 = 2(3x)

120 = 6x

120/6 = x

20 = x

therefore :-

lenght = 2x20 = 40cm

breath = 20cm
