Answer:

The perimeter is 360.

Step-by-step explanation:

Lenght = 120 cm

breath =  \frac{120}{2}

= 60

Perimeter = 2( l + b)

= 2( 120 + 60 )

= 2( 180 )

= 360

So the perimeter is 360.

.Question.

Find the perimeter of the rectangle having breadth 120 cm and the length is double of it's breath.

.Answer.

Solution :-

Given ,

Breadth = 120 cm

Length = 2 × 120 cm

= 240 cm

° Perimeter of the Rectangle = 2 ( l + b )

= 2 × ( l + b )

= 2 × ( 240 + 120 )

= ( 2 × 240 ) + ( 2 × 120 )

= 480 + 240

= 720 cm

Also , area of the Rectangle -

= l × b

= 240 × 120

= 28800 cm²

Conclusions :-

Perimeter of the Rectangle = 720 cm

Area of the Rectangle = 28800 cm²
