Find the perimeter of the rectangle whose length is 4 m and diagonal is 5 m. Also find the area of the rectangle

by pythagorus theorem,

(breadth)² +(length)²=(diagonal)²

(breadth)²+4²=5²

breadth=√25-16

breadth=3m

perimeter of rectangle=2(length+breadth)

=2(4+3)

=2×7=14m

area of rectangle=length×breadth

=4×3

=12m²
