Find the perimeter of the rectangle whose length is 40 cm and a diagonal is 41 cm.

Diagonal²=lenght²+base²

41²=40²+base²
1681-1600=base²
81=base²
9=base

Perimeter =2(l+b) =2(40+9)=2*49=98cm
