Find the perimeter of the rectangle whose length is 40 cm and a diagonal 45 cm

Diagonal of the rectangle d² = l² + w².

(45)^2=(40)^2+(w)^2.

(w)^2= 2025-1600.

(w)^2= 425.

w= √5*5*17.

w=5√17.

Perimeter of the rectangle= 2(l+b).

2(40+5√17)

=80+10√17 cm.
