formula -

2(l + b)

  1. length =25cm, breadth-15cm

=>2(25+15)

=>80

  1. length =46, breadth = 2m

Answer:

The perimeter in ,

Case 1 is 80cm

Case 2 is 96m

Step-by-step Explanations :

Case 1 : Given : length of Rectangle (L) = 25cm

Breadth of Rectangle (B) = 15cm

To find : perimeter of Rectangle = ?

We know that,

Perimeter of Rectangle = 2( L + B )

Substituting the given value in above formula we get,

Perimeter of Rectangle = 2( 25 + 15 )

= 2 × 40

∴ perimeter of Rectangle = 80cm

Hence the Perimeter of Rectangle is 80cm

Case 2 : Given : length of Rectangle (L) = 46m

Breadth of Rectangle (B) = 2m

To find : perimeter of Rectangle = ?

We know that,

Perimeter of Rectangle = 2( L + B )

Substituting the given value in above formula we get,

Perimeter of Rectangle = 2( 46 + 2 )

= 2 × 48

∴ perimeter of Rectangle = 96m

Hence the Perimeter of Rectangle is 96m
