Since it is a rhombus, all sides are equal. So, (3x+4)=(x+8)
3x+4=x+8
Switching the places of 4 and x
3x-x=-4+8
2x=4
x=4/2
x=2
Length of one side =(x+8)
Since x=2
Length of one side = 2+8
= 10
Since a rhombus has four sides, perimeter = 10+10+10+10=40
So, the perimeter of the rhombus is 40cm
