FIND THE PERIMETER SEMICIRCLE OF THE FIGURE​

Find the perimeter of the given figure .

Solution :

Let us find the length of the edge of each of the semi circles first .

They are going to be equal due to symmetry .

Here , r = 7 cm

Perimeter of semi circle :

=> π r

=> 22/7 × 7

=> 22 m

Perimeter of the two curvatures of the semicircles :

=> 2 × 22 m

=> 44 m

Sum of the edges of the two sides of the rectangle :

=> 28 cm + 28 cm

=> 56 cm

Now , total perimeter of the figure :

=> 44 cm + 56 cm

=> 110 cm .

This is the required answer .
