Let the breadth be b

25² = 24² + b²

25²-24² = b²

(25+24) (25-24) = b²

49 = b²

7 = b

Now perimeter = 2(24+7)
= 2×31
= 62cm

Dhirajjangir: But according to my book answer sheet answer is 62

Hi!

Length= 24cm
Diagonal= 25cm
Breath=b

25^2=24^2-b^2
625=576+b^2
625-576=b^2
49=b^2
b=√49
b=7cm

Perimeter of rectangle= 2(l+b)
= 2(24+7)
=2(31)
=62cm

Hope it helps...!!!
