By Pythagoras theorem we will find its length.

l²= h²-b²

l²= (13)²-(5)²

l² = 169-25 = 144

l = √144

l = 12 cm.

Now,

Perimeter = 2(l+b)

P = 2(12+5)

P = 2 × 17

P = 34 cm

Answer:

let the length be x

by Pythagoras theorem

(13)^2=(5)^2+x^2

169-25=x^2

x=√144

x=12cm

perimeter of rectangle=2(l+b)

=2×(5+12)

=2×17

=34

perimeter of rectangle is 34cm.
