As lines are intersecting there will be a common point , let that common point be "A"

now as both points intersect at A so ther equations can be satisfied by A(x,y)

so we solve these 2 equations

for solving 5x+7y=3----[1]    and 2x-3y=7----------[2]    , we multiply:

   [1] by 3    +       [2] by 7          { [1]  and [2]   are names i gave the equations                                                                                                       .                                                                            please do not get confused}

so we get:

15x+21y=9     and     14x-21y=49 and the 21y gets cancelled from addition so we are left with:

29x=58       after adding

and as 29 multiplied by 2 is 58

therefore ,

x=2  and put this in [1]    you will get y=1

so your answer is A(2,1)
