find the point of intersection of the lines joining the points (5,0),(0,5) and (6,1),(2,3)​

Answer:

(5,0)

on the line (5,0) (0,5)

change in x = -5

change in y= 5

ie. y2-y1

_____= -1

x2-x1

y2-y1 = -1(x2-x1)

now consider (0,5) and (x,y)

y-5 = -1 (x-0)

y-5= -x

x+y=5_____(1)

like wise do the same method by considering the line (6,1) and (2,-3)

you will get the 2nd equation as x-y=5_______(2)

by solving this we get......

x coordinate =5

y coordinate =0
