ɢɪᴠᴇɴ:

  • Equⁿ of a line is 2x - y = (-4).

ᴛᴏ ғɪɴᴅ:

  • The point of intersection of x - axis .

ᴀɴsᴡᴇʀ:

Given that the equation of the line is 2x - y = (-4).

At x - axis x = 0 ,

Putting x = 0,

2 × 0 - y = (-4).

0 - y = -4.

y = 4.

Hence it will intersect x - axis at (0,4).
