GIVEN :-
- ( X1 , Y1 ) = ( 7 , 6 )
- ( X2 , Y2) = ( -3 , 4)
- ( X3 , Y3) = ( X , 0 )
- x-axis which is equidistant from (7,6) and (-3, 4).
TO FIND :-
- value of ( X3 , Y3 )
SOLUTION :-
FOR X1 AND Y1
we know that they are equidistant to x axis hence ,
now we know the distance formula -
FOR X2 AND Y2
we know that they are equidistant to x axis hence ,
now we know that eq 1 = eq 2 as both are same distance so
squaring both sides
thus point is :-
