let (x,y) is equidistance from (2;-5) and (-2,9)

x =   \frac{ - 2 - 2}{2}  =   \frac{ - 4}{2}  =  - 2

y =  \frac{9 - ( - 5)}{2}  =  \frac{9 + 5}{2}  = 7

(x,y) = (-2,7)
