Find the point on thex-axis which is equidistant from (2, 5) and ( 2, 9).

I know that you have mentioned a very easy to understand solution and I have gone it thoroughly several times but not able to get it . I want to know that after equating the two equations, every variable get cancelled but you have written 8x = 25-81? Where did that come from ?

So, all I want to say is dont poast the same answer but make me understand the concept.
