Let (x,y) be a point equidistant from (-1,0)(5,0). Distance between (-1,0) and (x,y) √(x+1)^2+y^2. Distance between (x,y) and (5,0) is √(x-5)^2+y^2. Distance are equal and squaring on both sides. (X+2)^2+y^2 =( x-5)^2+y^2. X^2+4+4x=x^2+25-10x. 4x+4=25-10x. 14x=25-4, x=3/2 there fore the point is (3/2, 0)
