P(x,0) M(-5,-2) N(3,2)

PM²=PN²

Identity used:(x2-x1)²+(y2-y1)²

Squaring both sides so roots are cancelled

(x+5)²+(0+2)²=(x-3)²+(0-2)²

x²+25+10x+4=x²+9-6x+4

We,get

16x=-25

x=-25/16

So the point p is (-25/16,0)
