The point where the graph of 0.25x + 0.05y =1.00 intersects the y-axis

EVALUATION

The given equation of the line is

0.25x + 0.05y =1.00 .......... (1)

Since the graph cuts y axis

So x = 0

From Equation (1) we get

 \sf{0.05y = 1.00 \: }

 \displaystyle \implies \sf{y =  \frac{1}{0.05}  \: }

 \displaystyle \implies \sf{y =  20  \: }

Hence the required point of intersection is

( 0, 20 )
