According to Section Formula :::

x= (mx2+nx1)/m+n

and, y= (my2+ny1)/m+n

therefore, x= {[1x(3)]+[2x(7)]}/1+2

= {3+14}/3

=17/3

and; y= {[1x4]+[2x(-6)]}/1+2

= {4+(-12)}/3

= {4-12}/3

= -8/3

Therefore, (x, y) = (17/3,-8/3)
