Equidistant means the point should be mid-point.

Let the point be R.

P = (x1 , y1) = (2 , - 5) \\ Q =(x2, y2) =  ( - 2 , 9)

R = ( \frac{x1 + x2}{2} \: , \:  \frac{y1 + y2}{2} ) \\  \\ R = ( \frac{2 + ( - 2)}{2}  \: , \:   \frac{ - 5 + 9}{2} ) \\  \\ R =  (\frac{2 - 2}{2}  \: , \:  \frac{ 4 }{2} ) \\  \\ R = (0, 2)

The points are R = (0 , 2 )
