here ,x=5 and y=5

therefore the points lies in the first quadrant let the polar coordinate be (r ∅)

therefore r square = x square + y square =5square + 5 square =25 +25=50

therefore r= 5√2 ( r>0)

tan ø = 5÷ 5 =1

since the point lies in the first quadrant and

0 <∅ <2π ,tan ø =1 = tan 45°

therefore ø =45° the polar coordinate of a given point are 5√2,45°
