✴ Distance of image :
⟶ 1/u + 1/v = 1/f
⟶ 1/(-5) + 1/v = 1/(-15)
⟶ 1/v = -1/15 + 1/5
⟶ 1/v = (-1 + 3)/15
⟶ 1/v = 2/15
⟶ v = 7.5 cm
✴ Magnification :
➠ m = -v / u
➠ m = -7.5/-5
➠ m = 1.5
✴ Nature of image :
- Virtual
- Erect
- Enlarged

now,
1 /v + 1/u =1/f
⇒1/v - 1/ 5 =1/-15
⇒1/v =-1/15 + 1/5
⇒1/v= - 1+3/15
⇒1/v =2/15
⇒v= 15/2
⇒v=+7.5 cm
∴ the image is formed 7.5 cm behind the mirror .
again,
m=-v/u
=-(7.5/-5)
=+1.5
∴ nature is virtual and errect
