1/ f = 1/ v + 1/ u.

$\frac{1}{\mathrm{f}} = \frac{1}{\mathrm{v}}-\frac{1}{\mathrm{u}}$$

$\frac{1}{\mathrm{v}}+\frac{1}{20}=\frac{1}{12}$$

v = 30cm

Height of image = {h^\prime}

$\frac{h^{\prime}}{h}=\frac{v^{\prime}}{u}$

{h^\prime} = 30/ -20

{h^\prime} = 7.5 cm

The height of image = 7.5 cm.

Therefore, the image is real and inverted.
