\huge{\bold{\underline{\underline{....Answer....}}}}

\huge{\bold{\underline{Given:-}}}

\large{M_1 = 2 \: Kg}

\large{M_2 = 5 \: Kg}

\huge{\bold{\underline{Explanation:-}}}

Let the origin be at 2kg block

then, the coordinates will become as:-

\large{For \: 2 \: Kg \: block = (0,0)}

\large{For \: 2 \: Kg \: block = (10,0)}

Now, By the centre of mass formula.

\large{\bold{X_{COM} = \frac{M_1X_1 + M_2X_2}{M_1 + M_2}}}

Substituting the values.

\large{ \implies X_{COM} = \frac{2 \times 0 + 5 \times 10 }{2 + 5}}

Now,

\large{ \implies X_{COM} = \frac{ 0 + 50 }{2 + 5}}

\large{ \implies X_{COM} = \frac{50}{7}}

\huge{\boxed{\boxed{X_{COM} = 7.14 \: m}}}

As both y - coordinates are zero then centre of mass at y - coordinates will be zero.

And as the 2 Kg block is at origin the distance between the 2 kg block and centre of mass will be:-

Distance(d) = 7.14 - 0

So, the Distance = 7.14 m.

Therefore, the centre of mass from the 2 kg block is 7.14 m.
