  •  {x}^{2}  - (k + 2)x + 4 = 0

ROOTS OF THE EQUATION WILL BE SAME WHEN b²=4ac

  •  {(k + 2)}^{2}  = 4 \times 1 \times 4 \\  =  >  {k}^{2}  + 4k + 4 = 16 \\  =  >  {k}^{2}  + 4k - 12 = 0 \\  \\ k1 = 2 \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \: k2 =  - 6
