We know, relation between potential and electric field is given by
Here, E = a(yi + xj) and dr = (dx i + dy j)
∴
V = -a∫(ydx + xdy)
= -a∫d(xy) = -axy
Hence, potential , V = - axy

∴
V = -a∫(ydx + xdy)
= -a∫d(xy) = -axy
Hence, potential , V = - axy
