Given :  E = 2J and  current density J = x2 varies from x = 0  and x = 1.

To Find   Power

a) 1/3

b) 2/3

c) 1

d) 4/3

Solution:

energy E = 2J

current density J = x2 varies from x = 0  and x = 1

Power =  ∫ E. J dx

    =\int\limits^1_0 {2x^2} \, dx

  =2\int\limits^1_0 {x^2} \, dx

using integration ∫xⁿ  = xⁿ⁺¹ / (n + 1)

=2 \left[\dfrac{x^3}{3} \right]_{0}^1

=2 \left[\dfrac{1^3}{3} -\dfrac{0^3}{3} \right]_{0}^1

= 2 (1/3)

= 2/3

power, = 2/3
