hey mate

Power(P) = 1/focal length(f)(in m) = 1/-2 = -0.5 D(dioptre)

Power of concave lens is negative.

It is given that

Focal length of concave lens=2 m

We know that

Power=1/f(in metres)

Now, since a concave lens is a diverging lens, it's focal length will be negative.

Power=1/(-2)= -0.5 D

Answer: -0.5 dioptres
